Geinoh Yamashirogumi

From the incredibly vague details that are on the web about this group, I've only been able to gather that it is a Japanese collective that has been around since the early 1970s, made up of hundreds of people that primarily do other things than music to make a living. Some music is really fucking timeless and spaceless, and this is it. It would make as much sense in the most obscure nonexistant places.

Thanks for uploading (or finding) these albums! It's amazing how such music has remained almost unknown, at least in the west.

Yer welcome, the one of you who left your comment up. It is amazing how unknown this group is, even by standards of "obscure music."

I've been trying to find these albums at a 320 rip lately, when I have any success I will replace the links with them, and update the post. I'm rather late to a response, but there ya have it.

Thank you so much for posting these links, I was afraid I was never going to find their music again. I first came upon them when I watched Akira as a kid, and I can't get enough of them. All of their songs had been taken down on youtube and dailymotion and I'm glad that I can finally hear them again. It's heartwarming to know that someone out there was so appreciative of this music to share it with others. I can't thank you enough

I am very grateful for these download links.

I had all these albums before, found on torrents, now nothing to be found and mine are gone, thought I would not find them.

I wanted to buy the CDs but they are either not available or extremely expensive.
