Volcano! is a three-piece group from Chicago, Illinois. Their 2005 debut, Beautiful Seizure, stands as a modern masterpiece of noise rock, often bringing to mind a jazzy version of Antioch Arrow and Xiu Xiu, with a Thom Yorke-esque twist.
(I'd recommend this even if you don't consider yourself one to like noise. I heard this album in early '06 by accident, and it turned me on to a whole new area of music I'd probably never have given a listen otherwise.)
